Within two years, Azrak hopes to have 2,000 machines installed in airports, hospitals, colleges and yeshivas nationwide.
QUICK BITES: Kosher from vending machine
September 5, 2007
Last month, the nation's first glatt kosher vending machine that can shoot out a hot knish was installed at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. The machine also crisps up kosher mozzarella sticks, cheese pizza and onion rings.
The vending machines are called Hot Nosh 24/ 6.
"To make it a little Jewish sounding we called it nosh, and we added the 24/ 6 to give a little cuteness to it," says Doron Fetman, who, with his partner Alan Cohnen, created Kosher Vending Industries.

Kosher franks coming to Fenway
April 1, 2008
Red Sox fans who follow strict kosher dietary laws will be able to eat hot dogs at Fenway Park this year.
The Boston Herald reports that an automated vending machine in the concourse under the bleachers will be dispensing the kosher dogs.
Fenway already sells Hebrew National kosher dogs, but those are "kosher-style" and aren't prepared, packaged, shipped and cooked under supervision of a rabbi or kosher-certification agency.
The hot dogs in the "Hot Nosh" vending machine will be.
Fenway Park's top dog will have some new competition this season.
The home of the Fenway Frank, which claims to sell more hot dogs than any other ballpark in the country, is adding a new option for Jewish fans who adhere to strict kosher dietary laws. A new automated "Hot Nosh" vending machine, to be located in the big concourse under the bleachers, will cook and dispense all-beef, glatt kosher hot dogs in under a minute.
Two basketball buddies of mine chatted with me a while back about a new venture they have been working on. One is in the food business another was an investor of sorts. The concept was a vending machine that would produce quality hot foods that were kosher.
Personally, I love the idea. If the food tastes even decent and is in locations where kosher business travelers are located, then this idea can and should take off. Heck, I know I would pump hundreds of dollars into a machine like this over the course of a week's business trip.
Kosher Vending Industries Meets Growing Away-From-Home Demand
Tuesday, July 8, 2008
VALLEY COTTAGE, NY — Kosher consumers on the go have long been accustomed to passing up food courts, restaurants and cafeterias offering every kind of food but kosher, and settling for a less-than-satisfying bagged snack and cold drink.
Now, thanks to robotic retailing, these consumers are relishing hot kosher food at airports, hospitals, stadiums and shopping malls where brown-bagging was once their only dining option.
